Favs: Popping with Style
I took one look at the seasonings over the stove this week and realized it's time for another Favorites post. Yes, we have a problem in this family, and it all starts with popcorn. Since my grown up kiddies were little, we've probably eaten enough popcorn to feed a small city. It's a daily snack at our house; sometimes the microwave is popping two or three times a day. That's about a case of popcorn a week when all the boys are home.
Recently, I've gone back to popping popcorn the old fashioned way -- on the stove with a pot and a lid. Because I'm trying to eat healthier, I figure nothing but kernels and a couple tablespoons of coconut oil is the way to go. It's delicious, but some days it just doesn't satisfy my sweet tooth.
