Movie Quotes and Christmas Wishes

Merry Christmas Readers!

...every time a bell rings an angel gets his wings." --It's a Wonderful Life
The holidays are finally here, and I hope whether it's the shopping, the decorating, or even the cold weather and snow, you are enjoying them. I've spent the past couple days setting up our lights inside and out, and it's really put me in the Christmas spirit. I'm also excited for the down time to read and to, yes, even do a little shopping for my grown children and my new grandbabies.

"Maybe Christmas, he thought... doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas, perhaps... means a little bit more!" --The Grinch
Did you hear about my new holiday anthology released in November? All together, it's a 600+ page read of six different novellas for $1.99. I hope you'll check it out. You'll find my book, Henry's Holiday Charade, about a modern day Frog Prince, as story number two. Click here to download.

What would you do if you discovered gold? Last month was National Novel Writing Month, and I entered the 50,000 word race for the first time. It was a great opportunity to start my next novella for Valentine's Day, and since I researched a historic gold mining region of north Georgia this fall, I had the perfect setting. Fortunately or unfortunately, however you look at it, we spent Thanksgiving week in the Bahamas, and I took a lot of time off. I only made it to 33,000 words, but my new work in progress (WIP) is halfway there. Watch for more news about 2019's sweet contemporary romance, Valentine Gold. I already have a cover, and it's adorable. Sneak peek next month!

"It's Christmas Eve. It's the one night of the year when we all act a little nicer, we smile a little easier, we cheer a little more. For a couple of hours out of the whole year we are the people that we always hoped we would be." --Scrooged

 CHRISTMAS FREEBIE ALERT!
Contemporary romance, Turtle Soup, will be free all
day on Christmas Day. Watch for the reminder email!

Have a beautiful Christmas holiday.
I wish you the best. Thanks for following me on social media, reading my newsletter, and most of all, for supporting my books.

Warmly,

Danielle Thorne

"And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, ‘Fear not: for behold, I bring unto you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the City of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.’ And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God, and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.'"
