It's Just Hair!

"And being alone—that's so hard."

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: Parts One and Two

Hey Ya'll!
A long day in the salon isn't usually my cup of tea, but every couple years I like to make myself get something done. Cue Harry Potter. No, I don't have a scar on my forehead, I have a new color, a style I've always admired after watching the late Helen McCrory's portrayal of Narcissa Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. This past week, I found a talented hairdresser to take my gray hair to white and cover my blonde with brown. So, it's fresh for 2022 and definitely something different. I may look like I have a tendency to sympathize with villains, but hey, it's hair, it grows back. And for now, I kinda like it.

From the Writing Desk
We are two months out from the release of A Promise for His Daughter and the fun of a Victorian home renovation with a cheeky two-year-old in tow! Yesterday I received the first box of books to sign, but it was a small one with the large print copies. The rest will more than likely be here soon. I am still waiting on the e-book files as well, but if you think you'd like to be on my review or promotions team, just let me know by contacting me here. Make sure to follow me on social media as release day gets closer!

As reported last month, the next historical is underway. If you're curious about the new trope, A Lieutenant's Secret will be a friends to lovers romance. I have to admit I've been sidetracked by sunshine, walks, and edits on my next Harlequin submission, but the Lieutenant is slowly coming along. I sure appreciate your patience and support! Eventually, there will be a research trip for polishing and promoting, so make sure to follow me on social media for details.

Check out these new releases or books on sale!

Until Next Month...

Happy February! Be aware of the winter blues and get your Vitamin D and sunshine. As always, thanks for reading my newsletter and supporting me on this writing journey. Have a great month!

Warmly,

Danielle Thorne
