"He treated the stars as though they were love songs written to him by God."

Hey Ya'll!
If you’re wondering where I’ve been, I decided to reduce my monthly newsletters to quarterly, and hey, it’s March, and I have a new release! But first: Rob has officially retired as an air traffic controller from Atlanta Hartsfield tower. Whoo-hoo! It’s been a huge change for us, especially without kids around. He’s taken a 9 to 5 with a waste management company, and I’ve been a-writing and working on the house and yard. (I’m already fighting my first case of poison ivy. Ugh!)

We’re looking ahead to a busy but exciting 2023, and I hope you are as well. Two of our sons are getting married, we’re going to (finally) have sod laid in our moss-covered yard, and I’m looking forward to signing contracts with Love Inspired for 2024. I’m sure there are many more adventures to come, but that’s what makes life worth living.

From the Writing Desk
Yesterday was release day for A Home For The Twins with Harlequin’s Love Inspired books. I hope you’ll check it out online or at Walmart or Target. If you'd like to help share it, reviews are awesome, or pictures would be great if you see it on the shelf. Also, this quarter, I had the opportunity to be on a panel with Georgia authors, Helen Stine, and T.M. Browne, at the Carrollton Bookfest. It was a lot for a homebody, but I do love talking shop with other writers!

So what's coming up? At this time, current writing projects include a vacation-themed romance novella set in Ireland, and a screenplay which is really a learning experience. I'm preparing a 3-book proposal for Love Inspired for 2024, and last, I’m outlining a new historical. I plan for this to be a longer novel like A Pirate at Pembroke so I don’t have a publishing date yet. Stay tuned!

Becoming the chef at her aunt’s small-town inn is exactly the new beginning single mom Lindsey Judd needs. But balancing her job with her twin boys proves harder than she thought, especially when she discovers that lawyer Donovan Ainsworth wants to buy the inn for his own reasons. As Donovan starts to fall for Lindsey and her boys, will her little troublemakers become matchmakers as well?
