Project Hail Mary was a 5-star book. I didn’t think there was any way they could pull it off in a film especially with such a complex setting and back story. I was wrong. Thanks MGM for a loyal, uplifting, screenplay that didn’t stoop to vulgarity or titillation but focused on heart, humor, and wonder. Exceptional acting and special effects. The score was thoughtful and fun, too! In an industry full of dull repetition, spurious motives, little imagination, and soul sucking garbage, PHM has set the bar for 2026. GREAT film!
