Cat Madness

"May we seek to learn each other's stories so that we might love each other a little better."
— Amy Harmon
The Songbook of Benny Lament

Hey Ya'll!
Happy St. Patrick's Day if you're Irish. I'm not, but I am over 30% Scottish which was news to me! Either way, March Madness is a great tag for this month and not because it's basketball playoff season. I have my roses and hydrangeas cleaned up and fertilized, and inside I've been trying to keep up with the cats while looking at flooring samples to replace the carpet they've destroyed. I never would have imagined pets could do more damage than four boys, but here we are. And the boys never brought in snakes and chipmunks!

This month I set book 4 of Gentlemen of the Coast aside and started outlining a piece of women's fiction that's been on my mind awhile. I also have started my next Harlequin submission in my head, and I'm liking the idea of having a heroine with her own u-pick farm. Strawberries? Blueberries? I'll have to take a drive down toward Albany and see what's growing around there besides kudzu.

A Promise For His Daughter will be available at Harlequin on April 1st and everywhere else on April 26th. You still have plenty of time to pre-order it if you'd like to do it that way. Watch for quotes from the story on my Instagram account starting in April.

Until Next Month...

Happy March! Be careful of stormy weather this month, and remember that April will be here soon. That means sunshine, flowers, and lovely, sacred Easter Morning. Take good care and happy reading!

Warmly,
Danielle Thorne
