“October, baptize me with leaves!
Swaddle me in corduroy and nurse me with split pea soup.”
 ― Rainbow Rowell
Hey Ya'll!

I'm back...from a weekend conference in Utah after three weeks of being
down with covid which I caught in Toronto attending Harlequin’s 75th Anniversary festivities. [See our pretty office, left.] It was a charming city and everyone was so kind. I especially loved meeting my editor and other Love Inspired authors in
person. They are such friendly, good, uplifting people. It was
wonderful!
I’m on the mend despite the illness sandwiched between the two events
and look forward to getting my taste, smell, and ears unclogged as soon
as possible! I learned a lot in classes and lectures, and I’m ready to
sit down and start writing again. I also learned that I never want to catch that awful virus again, and I have more empathy for people whose lives have been affected by it.

| | From the Writing Desk It's release week! I am thrilled to have a new book out with Love Inspired. A Guardian Til Christmas
is my sixth book with them, and I’m so happy to have a little more
flexibility with my plotting and characters. Just wait for the teen
angst in next spring’s, Winning Over The Baker!
What’s on the horizon? I’m still working on my women’s fiction. Yes,
it’s turned into quite the eternal project, but I’ve also finished a
book and a half of my historical short stories series as well that I
plan to publish next.

                        | So long for now...Thank
you for all of your support whether it’s buying, reading, reviewing or
checking out my books at the library. Did you know I get royalties from
libraries when my eBooks are checked out? It’s very helpful. If you are
an electronic reader, I definitely recommend downloading the Hoopla or
Libby app to your tablet or phone. Free reads? Why not? Libraries are
among our greatest blessings in the free world!
 Warmly,Danielle Thorne
