Subscriber Giveaway & Cornwall's Phantom Update

The first breath of autumn was in the air, a prodigal feeling, a feeling of wanting, taking, and keeping before it is too late"
— J. L. Carr

Hey Ya'll!

We are so excited for September here. Leaves are yellowing, school buses storm the streets twice a day, and college football started last Saturday. It’s chili time, which is tricky on my low-histamine diet, but where there’s a will there’s a way! Do you have a favorite chili recipe? Any surprise secret ingredients?

From the Writing Desk

This month I’m wrapping up final edits on The Phantom of Cornwall’s Unexpected Bride and gathering a list of early reviewers for this historical novella. Contact me here if you are an interested book reviewer. It’ll be a soft release with no pre-orders and a low price so I’ll depend on your reviews and word of mouth. I hope you enjoy it.

I wrote this book because I love the mountains and football, and because I thought writing from a coach’s point of view would be fun. This boy-next-door romance is set in the mountains of North Carolina, and it's about humility and starting over. If I could do anything over, I’d probably choose a different cover because as much as I love it, I think the blue cover gives it romcom airs, but it’s definitely a Christian inspirational story. What do you think?
